Biography
Miss Kim has been dancing as long as she can remember. The niece of the late Gail Wildfong, Kim started dancing at GWSD in the fall of 1995 until graduating high school in 2007. During that time she danced ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, clog, tap, and stomp. She furthered her ballet skills completing her Cecchetti Grade I and Grade II ballet exams. In the fall of 2008, she came back to the studio as a teacher. She has instructed all genres of dance across the age ranges of first through twelfth grade. Kim is Grade I Cecchetti teacher certified and has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University. She lives in Gladwin with her husband and two daughters who are also deeply involved in the studio. During the day she teaches eighth grade English Language Arts at Gladwin Junior High School, teaches dance in the evenings, and runs marathons for her own enjoyment. She loves being a part of the GWSD family and helping young dancers from the community express themselves in artistic ways.
