
Biography
Brooklynn Tackett is a passionate dance teacher with seven years of teaching experience in ballet, jazz, lyrical, acro, and tap. She has recently received her Acrobatic Arts teaching certification. Brooklynn loves helping students build confidence, technique, and creativity in a fun and supportive environment.
Brooklynn attended Gail Wildfong School of Dance where she trained in tap, jazz, modern, musical theater, lyrical, hip hop, pointe, and studied the Cecchetti method of ballet passing Grades I-IV. While at GWSD, Brooklynn traveled to competitions and conventions to further refine her skills. Alongside her team and with solo performances, Brooklynn received many top scores, overall high-point placement awards, and judges’ choice awards. Brooklynn was also an assistant teacher for four years during her high school years. Her goal is, and always has been, to inspire dancers to express themselves while learning and growing every step of the way.
When not teaching, Brooklynn enjoys spending time with her family and friends and working as an occupational therapist. Brooklynn is excited to continue to be part of GWSD to teach and inspire students of all ages!
